FCBM Day 4.5

It's still day four of the YACB Free Comic Book Month; but what the heck, let's give away another comic!

Today's second entry comes from Stephen Frug. The five comics that Stephen listed are:

1. Bone
2. Promethea
3. Y, the Last Man
4. Box Office Poison
5. Eightball

Given those comics, especially the last two, Stephen seems like someone who would enjoy Bob Fingerman's slice-of-life comic Minimum Wage, so I'll be sending him issue #7 to try.

And like all the selected entries, Stephen will be receiving a copy of the 32-page Free Comic Book Day Preview Edition of Bone Sharps, Cowboys, and Thunder Lizards by Jim Ottaviani & Big Time Attic (Zander Cannon, Kevin Cannon and Shad Petosky).

Stephen's comics should be in the mail at the end of the week. Enjoy!

There's still time to send in your entry for the YACB Free Comic Book Month; details are here.

FCBM Day 4

It's day four of the YACB Free Comic Book Month!

Today's selected entry comes from Laura Gjovaag, aka Tegan, who runs Bloggity-Blog-Blog-Blog. The five comics that Laura listed are:

1. Aquaman
2. PS238
3. Girl Genius
4. Hikaru-no Go
5. True Story, Swear to God

Laura may be the world's biggest Aquaman fan, but as you can see her interests in comics run wide. I think she'll enjoy Andi Watson's Breakfast After Noon, so I'll be sending her the first two issues to try.

And like all the selected entries, Laura will be receiving a copy of the 32-page Free Comic Book Day Preview Edition of Bone Sharps, Cowboys, and Thunder Lizards by Jim Ottaviani & Big Time Attic (Zander Cannon, Kevin Cannon and Shad Petosky).

Laura's comics should be in the mail at the end of the week. Enjoy!

FCBM Day 2 Redux

Bryan Irrera informs me that he's already read (and enjoyed) the comics chosen for him in day 2, Finder #19-21. So instead I'll be sending him Evenfall #1 by Pete Stathis.

This means that Finder #19-21 are up for grabs. If you've already sent in your FCBM entry, and would like Finder #19-21 as your selection, email me and they're yours. If you haven't yet sent in your entry, do so and tell me that you want them. First person who claims them gets them.

Update: Finder #19-21 have been claimed by Bill Zeiders. Bill sent the following as his five comics:

1. Batman
2. X-Men
3. Grendel: Black White and Red
4. Anything by Frank Miller
5. Watchmen

Finder is a bit different than those Bill listed, but I think he'll enjoy it!
