Monkey Covers

Sunday is Monkey Covers day here at YACB. Because there's nothing better than a comic with a monkey on the cover.

What do you need to make the perfect comic cover from 1940? A mad scientist, a damsel in distress, a gun-wielding manly hero, and a monkey-beast-thing. It's all on George Tuska's cover to Weird Comics #1!

FCBM3 Day 6

It's day six of the third annual YACB Free Comic Book Month!

Today's selected entry is from Spencer Rosen. The five comics that Spencer listed are:

I'm betting that Spencer will get a kick out of:

Iron Man: Hypervelocity #1 by Adam Warren & Brian Denham; definitely a modern-feeling book, but in the classic Iron Man mode (i.e. no silly post-Civil War leader of SHIELD nonsense).

Spencer's bonus comic is the Fables #1 Special Edition.
