Nobody's Watching?

Nobody's Watching is a failed pilot for The WB; but according to this press release it's become such a hit on YouTube that NBC is picking it up as Webisodes and ordering scripts for a potential mid-season replacement.

The show might possibly be the most meta show ever developed. It's a single-camera show about a reality series about the making of a sitcom. It's not laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it is amusing and enjoyable. Certianly better than most of the drek that ends up on network television. (I just finished reading Bill Carter's Desperate Networks, and based on that I find it incredible that any quality programs make it to air at all!)

Monkey Covers

Tarzan #159Sunday is Monkey Covers day here at YACB. Because there's nothing better than a comic with a monkey on the cover.

Russ Manning draws Tarzan battling the vicious apes of the high preiestess La on the cover of Tarzan #159

(Standard disclaimer about vicious apes not really being monkeys applies.)
