* The upcoming Wimpy Kid volume scoots up to #6 on the overall list, while the Scott Pilgrim volumes slide to #75, 88, 89, 92 & 95. The bottom of the list, V for Vendetta, comes in at #3,420 overall.
* A lot of debut titles this week, led quite surprisingly by the been-out-for-a-while collections of Jason Lutes' Berlin. Granted it is a great comic, but why the sudden surge of interest? Joe Sacco's eight-year-old Safe Area Gorazde also debuts relatively high on the list.
* Also new are Darwyn Cooke's new Parker adaptation; a new Walking Dead collection; a comics adaptation of the first Percy Jackson novel; a collection of Big Nate newspaper comics; Linda Barry's Picture This; the 2011 Dilbert daily calendar; and the Scott Pilgrim 6-volume bundle.

What Came Before
I wanted to share this interesting video by a brilliant animator, Nina Paley. This is part of a series of work she is doing to help reframe the debate about copyright issues. This short film has a lot to say about religion and other forms of human creativity.
