FCBM6 Day 14

It's day fourteen of the Sixth Annual YACB Free Comic Book Month!

Our next selected entry is from Cardner Clark The five comics that Cardner likes are:

1. I Kill Giants
2. Fables
3. Sin City
4. The Umbrella Academy
5. The Unwritten

And his other thing of interest is strategic board games.

For Cardner I have the first issue of the new PunisherMAX series by Jason Aaron & Steve Dillon.

For Cardner's bonus comic, I'm sending him the Popeye Halloween comic.

N = New listing appearing on list for first time
R = Item returning to the list after having been off for 1 or more weeks

Commentary:

* The big winner this week is Stephen King, with The Talisman debuting up at #1, and a new Dark Tower debuting further down the list

* Daniel Clowes' Wilson continues to be strong, climbing all the way up to #3.

* Also big this week is the Walking Dead; the 5th hardcover collection vaults way up to #4, and volume 12 in the softcover series debuts stealthily at #42.

* The Invincible Iron Man Omnibus I expect would be selling better if not for the fact that it's on long back order ("Usually ships in 2 to 4 weeks" in Amazon parlance).

* Another dark horse to look for: Odd Is on Our Side is new graphic novel set in Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas series, written by Fred Van Lente and drawn by Queenie Chan.

Look what you've done...
