Found this on the Interwebs and thought it was cool. My understanding is that it was done with traditional film and animation techniques and not with computers.

Sunday is Monkey Covers day here at YACB. Because there's nothing better than a comic with a monkey on the cover!Monkeys in the zoo laugh at the funny people on Chris Schaare's cover to Wow Comics #66 (1948).
